(Just off the A1 North of us at Dunbar)
Town - Dunbar
(6 miles North for Cafe's, Restaurants, Shops etc, etc)
Bus stop - ¼ mile up the road just off the A1.
Railway station - Dunbar (5½ miles North).
Leisure centre/Pool - Dunbar ( 6 miles North).
Edinburgh is 32 miles to the North
Berwick is 23 miles to the South
Fishing - right here!!!
Beach - right here!!!
At Thorntonloch we have
Hardstanding & *Grass Touring pitches
all with electric hook-up (6amp max)
* GRASS touring pitches do NOT have a Sea View
Grass Tent pitches, without elecric hook-up
Two Free Toilet/Shower blocks.
Three Chemical toilet disposal points
A Book/CD/DVD/Puzzle Swap-Shop.

TV Reception - Some pitches are fine, some have a very poor reception or no reception, so the best bet for a good TV reception is a Satellite dish.

Camping area (tents & car park) has a 2.1m height barrier!

Sorry, but we don't rent out static vans or have seasonal touring pitches.

Static van sales are the responsibility of the resident owner who must display a
"For Sale" sign (with contact details) in the Static's window if it's for sale and
ALL negotiations will be conducted by the owner.
Please check in with the Duty Warden on-site who will show
you to the location of any van which may be for sale.

The Foxlake Outdoor Festival is taking place over the weekend of 20-21st May. There is lots to do for all the family including a Pro Wakeboard Tour event, everyone’s favourite music tribute acts and some of the best British comedians. New this year is our Adrenalin Arena, thrill seekers can can experience an 8m free fall by jumping into our Free Fall Stunt Bag or tackle our 7m climbing wall. Access Parkour will be performing free running shows throughout the day with the chance to get involved and learn from the experts and enjoy BMX stunt shows from The-Clan Stunt-Team. There will be cooking demonstrations showcasing produce from Scotland's Food & Drink County. All of this is included in the ticket price! Tickets are selling fast so book soon to avoid disappointment. Tickets are only £17 per adult for each day, £30 per adult for 2 days and best of all children under 16 are free. The Tour of Britain is returning to East Lothian for the second time this September. On Sunday 3rd September Stage One of the Tour will start in Edinburgh and weave its way through East Lothian before finishing in Kelso. Click here for more information
